Goals and Purposes

1. The most important objectives of our society as it is outlined in the Article 2, section 1 of our “Statutes” (Constitution) are the following:
2. Regroup all specialists graduated in Medicine and Surgery that have interest or any link with the specialty of Cardiac Surgery, and those graduates or university diplomates in other fields of health sciences that want to applicate and are admitted .
3. To contribute with the scientific improvement of their associates.
4. To promote the development of the cardiac surgery specialty.
5. To assess the official organisms and private societies about the field of the specialty of cardiac surgery.
6. To provide all the means for the enlargement of studies and training on the field of the specialty of cardiac surgery.
7. To collaborate with the different universities with the scientific and technical development of the specialty of cardiac surgery.
8. To promote the relationship and collaboration between other state or international scientific societies.
